The Problem with Other Retardants...
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers, or PBDE's, are commonly used as
fire retardants as well as in manufacturing of building materials,
electronics, furnishings, plastics and textiles. But since the 1990's,
scientists have questioned the safety of PBDE's because they accumulate
in the body, and are not passed through as waste. People are exposed
to low-levels of PBDE's through ingestion of food and by inhalation.
PBDEs bioaccumulate in blood, breast milk, and fat tissues. People
are also exposed to these chemicals in their domestic environment
because of their prevalence in common household items.
Fire'z Off is the Solution
Fire'z Off contains NO PBDE's, is completely non-toxic, creates
no harmful vapors, and best of all, it works!
