What it is: Fire'z Off is an environmentally-friendly fire
retardant spray and dip, which is used to retard fire in all Class
A materials, such as drapes, wall hangings, furniture, boxes and
packing materials, fabrics and uniforms, even construction materials
like framing, roof decking and cedar shakes. As a general-purpose
retardant, it's perfect for schools, daycares, eldercare, restaurants,
hospitals and more.
Why Your Customers Need It: Schools, daycares, eldercare,
restaurants, hospitals and pretty much every 'public space' are
governed by Life Code 101, which says that any hanging fabric and/or
paper in a public space needs to be treated with a fire retardant.
Certain industries require uniforms and work clothes to be treated.
They are REQUIRED BY LAW to comply. That means that the local
fire marshal can do an inspection and shut down an operation until
those curtains are treated, or those holiday decorations, wood panelling,
wall hanging or cedar shake roof is treated.
When Your Customers Need It: For that organization, life
stops until it's fixed. They usually have a week to track down a
suitable fire retardant, treat the material, and show the proof
to the fire marshal. So your customers need it quickly.
What Happens if They Don't Get It: New businesses have their
openings delayed. Health Care facilities get have their funding
from Medicade and Medicare threatened if they are not in compliance
with Life Code 101. Trade show booths can't open. Restaurants can't
open their doors. Holiday decorations get taken down. Haunted house
attractions don't open. Buildings don't pass inspections. Business
stops.
Why You Should Stock it: Customers will look to two places
when confronted by a citation from the fire marshal - their current
suppliers, and the Internet. We have hundreds of customers who have
purchased directly from us. That means they didn't buy it from you.
We would like to change that.
And here's something you may not know - Walmart doesn't carry fire
retardant. Doesn't it make sense to be your customers' savior in
time of crisis?
